We all have known for as long as there has been life men and
women are diametrically opposite people. It can be theorized that there
are totally different emotions that drive these genders, and we both want
different things which causes us to react in different ways, sometimes
to one extreme or another.
I think these differences also brings about different issues with trust, and how it is much harder for men to let go of their trust issues as it is for women. But that doesn't mean that women can't be as hard as a man when it comes to their issues with trust but usually a women's heart will allow them to love more quickly than a male.
Now, while the truth is that God and nature itself has hardwired us to be different, which means our behaviors are characteristic of the gender that we belong to, it is also a sordid fact that this can create a lot of issues. There are multiple instances in which men and women do not understand each other and communicate on a different level, due to which there are disagreements and arguments between them, even leading to drastic steps such as infidelity, breakups and divorce.
When these things occur the scars are left for a long time and the development of trust issues with any other person after than can ruin what might have been a perfect fit in the relationship. There are a vast and upsetting numbers of relationships that have not worked out when in truth this could be avoided or even worked out if just a little more effort and communication were used.If we are going to work out our trust issues and really have a happy and loving relationship We need to realized that we are both different and understand what makes us so. Then we can live in harmony with our partner and start to resolve our issues with trust.
On a reassuring note the so called "fairy tale love" does and can exist.. Realistic expectations of love, provides an understanding that love which is deep and realistic allows the partner to make a mistake. It allows there to be inevitable differences of opinions and preferences between the couples. Anything less than this respect for the other is not true love at all.
There is a saying in most cultures that states, "love covers a multitude of sins" This is the basis of a relationship that is based on mutual understanding and respect. In this type of relationship, a couple can appreciate and express the strengths and abilities their partner can offer them within the relationship. A negative attitude must be replaced with a positive one and even when the small things that usually drive you up the flapping wall which are done by your partner male or female in a spirit of love and cooperation is accepted as an expression of that love.
